A notorious cult leader in Rivers State, Gift Okpara, known as 2Baba, the prime suspect in the brutal murder of a former Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, has reportedly been killed.

Angbashim was ambushed and captured by 2Baba’s gang in Odiemudie community, Ahoada East LGA in Rivers in September 2023.

Reports said 2Baba was killed following a major security raid in Rivers state spearheaded by the police at the hideout of his gang in Idu-Ekpeye in Ahoada East local government area of the state on Saturday.

2Baba was reportedly hit many times during the raid alongside some of his loyalists.
