NPAN mourns, pays tribute to Dokpesi

The Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN) has mourned founding chairman of Daar Communications Plc, Dr. Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi, who recently passed on at age 71.
The Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN) has mourned founding chairman of Daar Communications Plc, Dr. Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi, who recently passed on at age 71.
In a statement, the association’s president, Mallam Kabiru Yusuf, commiserated with members of the media fraternity, Dokpesi’s immediate and political families on the loss, adding: “We are consoled by the fact that he left behind an enduring legacy of hard work and selflessness.
“We encourage our youths to emulate his industry, modesty and passion for the people.
“The nation has lost a great pioneer, a patriot, an advocate of good governance and free press.”
