Alfadarai disclosed this, while presenting the four graduands of the command: Superintendent of Corps, Wasiu Lawal; Deputy Superintendents of Corps, Oluwaseun Abolurin, and Abdulsalam Oluwatoyin; and Assistant Superintendent of Corps, Idowu Christiana Omotayo, at Lagos State NSCDC Command Headquarters, Alausa, Ikeja.
The graduands, who arrived from the NSCDC Command and Staff College Lamingo, Jos, after successful completion of the Staff Course 01/2023, made the command proud following their various outstanding performances, throughout the period of the course.
The elated commandant, while addressing the management and staff, charged all officers and men to be good ambassadors of the command anywhere they find themselves and keep the flag of the Corps flying.
He unveiled new operational vehicles dedicated to the safe school project, which was aimed at complementing the efforts of the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, in ensuring emergency response against criminals, who have decided to cause distress and uncertainty in schools, and other educational institutions in the state.
According to him, “The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) officials are well trained to contend with emerging security threats in our communities, streets, nooks and crannies, in a bid to bring security close to the people and ensure peace and tranquility in our esteemed state of excellence.”
Alfadarai said the Corps, which started about 56 years in Lagos, is well experienced and better positioned to give its best at any given time or point when duty calls.
He said that personnel of the command should as a matter of fact, uphold the legacy and standard set by Superintendent of Corps (SC), Oluwaseun Abolurin, the Command’s spokesperson, at the college and strive not to let the Command down in future endeavors.
Recall that Abolurin emerged as the overall best performing participant of the course and won the overall best prize of the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi.
