Chairman of the Apapa Branch of the association, Maikasuwa Garba, while speaking at a workshop, noted that the society has skills to train up coming engineers in manpower development to ensure they have successful careers.
Garba, who regretted that some young engineers, who are staff members of NIMASA are not registered members of the society said: “Manpower development is key in terms of career. No matter the sophisticated equipment you may have, without adequate training you would not achieve your dreams.
Garba said: “We do not charge money for trainees because we are a non-governmental organisation (NGO), and also a non-profit organisation. So, we are concerned about the development of the society especially for engineers.”
