Ogbaru local government area defends choice of governorship aspirant

Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano
The people of Ogbaru local government yesterday explained why they would vote for Chief Willie Obiano in the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State.
The transition committee chairman of the local government, Ignatius Ezediokpu, said the community wanted Obiano re-elected so that he could finish projects started by his administration.
He also thanked the governor for appointing 16 assistants from the area, describing the development as first of its kind since creation of the state.
Ezediokpu spoke at Atani during a campaign tour of the area by Obiano.
Director General of Obiano Campaign Organisation, Victor Umeh, said APGA was the only Igbo platform in Nigeria, urging youths not to import any other political party into the state.
