The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Bode Ojajuni, yesterday visited the scene of the incident for an on-the-spot assessment to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of retired broadcaster, MS Kitan Oyesiku and her security guard.
He said that Command equally recovered the Lexus RX300 earlier reported missing from the residence.
The Commissioner while inspecting the premises received briefings from detectives handling the case to evaluate the process of the ongoing investigation efforts.
He reiterated the Command’s resolve to leave no stone unturned in unraveling the circumstances surrounding the incident and ensuring that those responsible are identified, apprehended, and brought to justice.
“It is worthy of note that the vehicle earlier reported missing from the residence, a Lexus RX300, has been recovered by police operatives during the night hours. The vehicle has since been secured as part of the ongoing investigation.” The Commissioner said
Ojajuni commiserated with the family of the deceased and assured residents of Ogun State that intensive investigation is ongoing, with all available resources being deployed to track down the perpetrators.
He further assures the public that significant progress is being made and that further developments will be communicated as investigations unfold.
