Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has disclosed that his administration will, in a couple of weeks, commission two roads that connect the state with neighbouring Lagos State.

The roads stretch from the main industrial hub of Ota to the nation’s commercial capital.

Speaking during the 25th Iganmode Day at Ansar-Deen Secondary School Field, Ota, Abiodun said he prioritised the road because of his administration’s quest to further open up the state for economic development.

He said that Ado-Odo/Ota would be the first council in the state to have its roads commissioned by his government.

The council, he said, is not only important to the state, but to the country.

While appreciating the planning committee for putting together a successful celebration, the governor commended the Olota of Ota, Oba Adeyemi Obalanlege, for bestowing on him an award as the Grand Commander of the Awori Nation.
