Ogunlowo bags transparency Africa Award, gets accolades from SOL At 50

The Management and staff of Strategic Outsourcing Limited (SOL), yesterday, felicitated with its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Olufemi Olukayode Ogunlowo on the occasion of his golden jubilee birthday held at naval dockyard conference centre, Lagos.

In a statement signed by Mr. Aramide Tola Noibi and made available to The Guardian, it described Ogunlowo as an exceptional leader, a rare gem who has helped in improving the outsourcing and human resources business globally.

“We are grateful to God on his behalf for attaining such a very outstanding age of greatness with such laudable, enviable achievements.

“As you turn 50 today, may God bless your new age with all your heart desires, greater heights and long life in good health and wealth,” the statement said.

The highlight of the event was a stage play titled, “The twitter house girl,” also enlivened with auspicious performances by Muson orchestra.

Ogunlowo expressed gratitude to God, his family and other guests who graced the occasion in making it a laudable event.

Meanwhile, he was recently conferred with a distinguished Africa’s Continental Award by the Transparency Africa. The Award was in recognition and appreciation of his outstanding commitments and contributions from his inspirational leadership in African Continent.

In his acceptance speech, Ogunlowo said the focus of the genuine Africa leadership should be geared and centred on building formidable, enviable, conducive societal values, most importantly on trust, rather than fighting corruption and also ensure a high level of accountability.

He encouraged youths to re-orientate and change their focus from fighting corruption to building a very virile nation and the most prosperous and enviable African Continent.
