Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has commiserated with the family of Omo-Agege of Orogun in Ughelli North Council over the death of their patriarch, Justice James Omo-Agege, the second Chief Judge of the state.

In a condolence message yesterday by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mr. Charles Aniagwu, Okowa described Omo-Agege as a fearless Judge, who as chairman of the Bendel State Armed Robbery and Firearms Tribunal, found the dreaded Lawrence Anini and his gang members guilty of conspiracy and armed robbery and sentenced them to death by firing squad.

The governor said the jurist, who is the father of Senator Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege (Delta Central) will be missed by all whose lives he had touched in many ways in his “very fulfilled and achievements-laden life.”

Justice Omo-Agege was the pioneer chairman of the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC).
