Olori Temitope lauds Zulum’s visionary leadership in Borno

Olori Temitope Ogunwusi, wife of the Ooni of Ife, visits Borno State, commends Governor Zulum’s leadership, attends a wedding, and promotes unity and empowerment.

Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, recently paid a significant visit to Maiduguri, Borno State, where she honoured an invitation to attend a high-profile wedding and celebrated the achievements of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.

The queen attended the wedding of the son of Dr Ali Bukar Dalori, Deputy National Chairman (North) of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Reflecting on her time in Maiduguri, she described the visit as an opportunity to experience the resilience and history of the city.

As part of her engagements, Olori Temitope paid a courtesy call on Governor Zulum, lauding his transformative leadership and unwavering dedication to his people.

“Governor Zulum’s bold initiatives to tackle critical challenges, including insurgency and flooding, reflect his profound commitment to peace, security, and development in Borno State. His visionary leadership and tireless efforts are exemplary,” she said.

The queen also met Dr. Falmata Babagana Umara Zulum, wife of the governor, praising her advocacy for women, children, and vulnerable populations in the state.

“Her Excellency is a woman of exceptional grace and strength, whose tireless advocacy for women, children, and vulnerable populations has made a significant impact across the state,” Olori Temitope remarked. “Her unique approach to addressing social challenges, coupled with her compassionate leadership, truly embodies the essence of empowerment and transformation.

“Her warmth and dedication left a lasting impression on me and further underscored the spirit of resilience that defines Borno State,” she said.

During her visit, the queen held discussions with Inna Galadima, Borno State’s only female local government chairperson, commending her humility and dedication to the people of Jere Local Government Area.

She also praised Dr Ali Bukar Dalori for his humanitarian contributions and commitment to uplifting communities.

Olori Temitope expressed gratitude to her husband, the Ooni of Ife, for his unwavering support and his vision of fostering unity across Nigeria and Africa.

As Deputy Convener of the Hopes Alive Initiative for Africa (HAI), Olori Temitope commended her team for their hard work, emphasising the importance of unity and resilience in the collective pursuit of progress and peace.
