How Omiyale Yomiā€˜s Tech Institute is changing the future of Tech in Africa.

Omiyale Yomi is the owner of Hagital Consulting, a company that assists Africans acquire top-notch Tech Skills and make a smooth transition into the tech industry through Digital Skills Training and Career Coaching Services. Prior to starting Hagital, he worked as a banker and as a tax accountant in the oil and gas sector. He is currently the Senior Pastor of the Household of Kings Church.

He spent seven years working in the tax accounting and financial services industries. By 2019, he realised that the IT industry is always evolving and that there is a growing need for qualified tech talent.

He said, ā€œI was stunned by the realisation that many Tech Training Institutes around were not providing quality Tech Training. While there was a huge demand for quality tech talent, available Training Institutes were more interested in issuing certificates and charging high fees than grooming Tech Talents. I started Hagital to solve this problem.ā€

Hagital started as a side hustle for Omiyale; he started with training people on Digital Marketing around 2019. Great results were being recorded by people and students swiftly started earning and acquiring wealth. Spurred by the success stories of students, he resigned from her job the following year and focused on Hagital Consulting full time.

He acknowledged that both of his parents had given him an entrepreneurial spirit. While his mother had a trading business in addition to her teaching position with the State Civil Service, his father left his accounting career to follow his entrepreneurial dream. He took his cue from the story of Jeff Bezos quitting a lucrative position in investment banking on Wall Street to start Amazon, a company that sells books online. Omiyale was inspired by this to quit his position as a senior tax accountant in the oil and gas industry.
Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo served as his early mentor, while Kenneth Copeland served as his role model.

Hagital has provided physical and online training programs over the past four years to more than 10,000 Africans from more than 40 cities and 15 countries in tech skills such as data science, data analysis, software application testing, cloud computing, product design (UI/UX), IT business analysis, product management, digital marketing, and software development. Hagital Consulting’s brand has long been driven by the name Pastor Omiyale Yomi.

ā€œWe at Hagital Consulting teach you Tech until youā€™re an expert. If you don’t master it the first time, you will undergo the training again at no additional cost.ā€, he said.

Omiyale Yomi aims to improve the financial situation of numerous Africans by providing top-notch technological education through Hagital Consulting.
