The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has reiterated the need for Yoruba, both at home and in the Diaspora, to promote the rich cultural values of the race.

He warned that civilisation might erode the age-long values bequeathed by the forefathers.

The foremost traditional ruler stated that Yoruba is blessed with a diverse cultural endowment that must be protected and promoted by all and sundry to effect the needed social-economic changes in the society.

The Ooni, who spoke at the first coronation anniversary of the Oore of Mobaland, Oba Adekunle Adeagbo, in Otun-Ekiti, Moba Local Council of Ekiti State, emphasized the need for people to work together in unity.
