Pastor Olumayokun Oreofe has decried the state of the economy in the nation with reference to challenges confronting small and medium scale industries (SMEs), especially in the female category.

Oreofe, who addressed the media on the urgent need to tackle the problem, was very optimistic that assisting these set of females who occupy a major sector in the economy, has a way of making it fully bounce back.

She said to contribute to the solution has necessitated the convergence of diverse stakeholders who have been able to scale through the huddle of starting their own businesses in this sector and thriving today, to impact aspiring female entrepreneurs at the 14th edition of The Thriving Business Women Fellowship set to hold on four Tuesdays in the month of June at the Victorious Women Prayer Ministry, Alausa and simultaneously in Abuja, Abeokuta and Ibadan.

Oreofe, who is the Convener of the Business Summit, added that this event which will feature issues around agriculture, coaching, digital marketing, and event planning, among others, will bring together industry players, entrepreneurs, and coaches from all works of life, such as Chief Executive Officer of Background Check International, Kola Olugbodi, co-founder of SoFresh Premium Health Store, Bimbo Balogun, and others, who share one thing in common as to how things would get better every day.

“At this year’s Business Summit, we shall be dissecting collaboration and all that pertains to it with a view to
leveraging on it to scale up in our various endeavours as we look forward to great comebacks from the COVID-19 induced setbacks experienced by many, especially the SMEs.

“As our speakers share their grass to grace stories, they would expound on how cooperation, partnership, joint effort, and the alliance of other persons or entities have impacted, enhanced and propelled their businesses to scale heights.

“Participants will be given a towering voice in their various catchment areas and industries.”
She added that over the years, the summit has produced dynamic entrepreneurs, especially women and has birthed many success stories.
