Oye begs APGA for forgiveness, pledges loyalty

The embattled National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Oye, has apologized to members of the National Working Committee and BOT of the party, asking for forgiveness for any misconduct in the interest of the party.

Oye, who made the plea yesterday when he paid a visit to Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, where party members gathered for reconciliation over the crisis rocking the party. The APGA boss said that peace, love and forgiveness would salvage APGA, adding that the party would retain its dominance and leadership in Anambra and beyond.

He added that APGA was in dire need of peace at the moment, especially in Anambra, where they wanted the governor to return for a second term.

Earlier in his speech, Ezeonwuka, a member of the Board of Trustees (BoT), told party faithfuls that Oye, was at his country home because of the crisis in the party which bothers on his chairmanship position, adding that his duty is to resolve conflicts and mediate in times of crisis.
