Oyetola leads APC faithful on march for Tinubu, Shettima in Osogbo
Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, yesterday, led the All Progressives Congress (APC) faithful in the state in a march across Osogbo for the party’s candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.
The faithful, who wore branded shirts and caps, trekked from the Government House, through Olaiya to Oja-Oba, Ajegunle, Igbona to Freedom Park where the governor addressed them.
Oyetola urged them to be optimistic about victory at the Osun Election Petition Tribunal, adding that “it is right for APC to show gratitude” by voting massively for Tinubu, who had financed political activities in the state.
He said: “The walk for Tinubu is a very fortunate one because we will love to testify to his goodness. Tinubu will become the president of this nation because God has proclaimed it. He is popular in Osun. He has been with us in Osun since 1999. He contributed heavily to progressive victory in the state.”
Oyetola pleaded with Nigerians not to leave the country for those that would use it to experiment on governance.
