Police create security awareness, assure residents of safety

Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board has assured intending pilgrims who missed the 2022 hajj refund of their fares.

It further said that those who do not wish to collect their own would be given priority next year.

Chairman of the board, Prof. Sayed Malik, disclosed this while briefing journalists on the 2022 hajj report in his office at Olodo, Ibadan.

He then urged the pilgrims to visit the account section of the board along with their receipts to claim their funds.

IN another development, the Oyo State Police Command, yesterday, launched a security awareness tour across its 10 area commands to confront emerging security concerns and reassured residents of safety.

This is coming after the recent kidnapping in the Ogbomoso area of the state.
