Pam’s nomination for ICC Registrar excites Lalong
Governor Simon Lalong has rejoiced with Ibrahim Pam, who has been shortlisted for the post of Registrar, International Criminal Court (ICC), The Hague, Netherlands.
While congratulating Pam for being the only Nigerian among the 12 candidates shortlisted for the position, Lalong expressed optimism that Pam would be successful in the selection process, going by the experience and knowledge he brings along.
In a statement, yesterday, the Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor, Dr. Makut Simon Macham, said that Pam, who had worked for over two decades in International Criminal Justice, Investigations and Prosecutions of the Rome Statutes Crimes, Internal Oversight, Administrative and Criminal Investigations, Fraud Risk Management and Fraud Prevention among others, would bring enormous value to the office when appointed.
Pam worked meritoriously with the ICC in The Hague, the African Development Bank (AfDB) and is currently an Executive Director with the Green Climate Fund in South Korea.
While assuring him of the support and prayers of Plateau government and people, Lalong described Pam’s candidacy as not only a thing of pride for the state and Nigeria, but of the entire Africa.
