The Deputy National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. (Arc) Setonji Koshoedo has felicitated Governor Seyi Makinde for the successful management of the impasse that arose after the passing on of Olubadan Saliu Adetunji Aje Ogungunniso I and rued how the oustead APC government in the state attempted to bastardize the tradition of crown-wearing kingship in the ancient town.

While applauding the governor for his swift intervention in a personal congratulatory message on the occasion of the installation of the new Olubadan, Oba (Sen) Dr. Lekan Balogun, Hon. Kosh, as he is fondly called, commended the pragmatic approach of the leader of PDP in the South West, for the peaceful resolution of the succession issue.

He added that Governor Makinde’s politics and governance style has clearly endeared him to the citizens of Oyo State and beyond.

The PDP Deputy National Secretary also seized the opportunity to congratulate the Ibadan and celebrate Alli-Okunmade II on his emergence and wished him a prosperous and rewarding tenure.
