PFN salutes Kumuyi as icon of Christendom

President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Wale Oke, has described the octogenarian preacher and General Superintendent, Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DLCM), Pastor William Kumuyi, as “our bastion of integrity.”

He also described him as a shining light to the world and a man of impeccable integrity.

Oke stated this while felicitating with Kumuyi on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

The bishop, who led a delegation of PFN executive members to the headquarters of DLCM in Kado, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where a six-day global crusade of the church titled, “Divine Connection,” is being held, said that Kumuyi remained an icon in Christendom and among the founding-fathers of PFN whom they look unto as a perfect example.

He said: “We don’t want to wait until he passes to glory and come to say all manner of things about him but we want to say them when he is alive and can hear so that he can be encouraged in his heart to do more. We trust God that we see him even at old age and still continue to be a blessing.

“The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria today joins the Deeper Christian Life Ministry Worldwide around the seven million daddy’s children, mothers and lovers to wish Daddy happy birthday and many more years.”

“Daddy raised us through the preaching of holiness and Jesus Christ only is the message which he has preached without compromise. He has been consistent and a shining example to us and to the world, and will continue to be until your work is ended.”
