Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA) has sought collaboration with Rwanda on an innovative approach to boost the economy of Rivers State and the country at large.
This is as the Chamber played host to the Rwandan High Commissioner to Nigeria, Amb. Christophe Bazivamo, who was on a working visit to the state recently.
Speaking during a business meeting with the Rwanda High Commissioner, the President of PHCCIMA, Mike Elechi, disclosed that the significance of the meeting was to foster stronger ties and explore collaborative opportunities between Nigeria and the Republic of Rwanda.
Elechi noted that Rwanda, over the years, has shown remarkable economic growth and resilience, as well as setting an inspiring example for nations around the world, adding that the organised private sector in the state is eager to strengthen the bonds between the business communities of Port Harcourt and Republic of Rwanda.
He expressed belief in the power of collaboration and innovations to drive economic progress, saying that the meeting has provided such a platform for meaningful dialogue and exchange of ideas between their business communities.
