The Ondo State Police Command has arrested the 22-year-old suspected killer of the Chairman of Credit Switch Technology, Chief Ope Bademosi. The command’s spokesman, Mr. Femi Joseph, paraded the suspect, Sunday Afouhbale, a Togolese, who was apprehended in Ondo, the headquarters of Ondo West Council, at the Command headquarters in Akure, yesterday, before being transferred to Lagos, where he committed the crime on Wednesday, October 31.

Afouhbale, a cook, allegedly stabbed his boss to death and was declared wanted by Police.Joseph disclosed that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Fagun Police Station, Ondo, Olajide Samuel, and his team, track and arrest the suspect, along with two other suspects in Ondo town.

“He is in our custody and has been giving us useful information, but as we know, the case happened within the Lagos State Police Command and we have handed him over to our men in Lagos State, where the incident happened,” he added.

Journalists were prevented from interviewing the suspect and also refrained from exposing how he was arrested due to ongoing investigation and sensitive information that were kept away from the public.

“We will not want to talk too much about the suspect for now, because he is still giving us useful information in order not to jeopardise our investigation on the case.

“He has said many things that would be helpful for us, we still want to remain silent on the information he has been giving to us and as soon as we complete our investigation here in Ondo State and Lagos State Police Commands, we shall surely let the whole Nigeria know what really transpired and how the incident took place.“We have done the major aspect of the job by arresting him, so whatever happens later, we will let you people know,” Joseph said.
