Police arrest motorcycle snatcher in Kaduna
Operatives of Kaduna State Police Command have arrested a motorcycle snatcher after his father reported to the Police. The Command’s spokesperson, ASP Mansir Hassan, who confirmed the arrest said: “On March 29, we received information from the father of the suspect that he saw his son, Sani Nafiu, with a motorcycle suspected to have been stolen, that the motorcycle was stolen from Abuja.
“On receipt of the information, our operatives went and arrested the suspect from Tijjani Kaya quarters in Giwa Local Council.
“Investigation revealed that he stabbed his victim, Mr Shamsu Jamilu from Danja, 28, at Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
“The suspect collected the victim’s motorcycle while he lay unconscious. The suspect has been arrested and the motorcycle recovered.” According to Hassan, the investigation is ongoing and upon its conclusion, the suspect would be charged to court for prosecution.
