The Ekiti State Police Command has paraded two rape suspects who also specialise in blackmailing their victims.

The suspects according to the spokesperson of the Ekiti State Police Command, Sunday Abutu, were arrested after one of their victims made a formal report to the police.

According to the PPRO, the Command’s JWC of the State CID received a complaint from the 20year old lady (name withheld) that 40-year-old Anthony Oluwatosin Adedokun of Ajebamidele Area, Ado-Ekill forcefully had carnal knowledge of her in his apartment alongside 44-year-old Ayoola Talwo Ayodele, a timber contractor of Agric Olope Area, Ado-Ekiti.

“Police investigation revealed that the victim and Anthony Oluwatosin Adedokun met on Facebook and started a relationship sometime in 2021. The suspect, Adedokun, presented himself to her as a policeman who can assist her to join the Nigeria Police Force.

“In the process, the victim solicited for a financial help of N10, 000 from Adedokun who obliged but insisted that the victim must come to his house in Ado-Ekiti to get the money.

“Further investigation revealed that the victim decided to visit Anthony Oluwatosin Adedokun in his house on January 17, 2022 and the suspect decided to take her to the house of Ayodele where he had carnal knowledge of her against her wish.

He added: “Surprisingly, Ayodele videotaped them and threatened to blackmail the victim if she refused to have sex with him also. Ayodele went ahead and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her in the same room and on the same bed.

“Furthermore, the suspects forcefully booked an appointment with the victim to come back on January 21, 2022 for another round of sex or risk sharing her sextape online.”
