Meanwhile, residents of Ago palace have commended the police for stepping up security in the area, especially conducting intensive stop and search on every car which has more than two occupants.

The Guardian learnt that the security architecture put in the Ago palace area has remained intact as the area is currently very tight for any criminal to penetrate.
A businessman in the area, Ugochukwu Eze, said: “There is adequate security in Ago because police are everywhere both day and night, any report of high rate of kidnapping here is a false alarm.”
