The Police in Niger State said the command would embark on a shooting range practice slated for November 1, 8, and 15, 2024, between 6:00 am to 4:00 pm behind the Nigeria Air Force Base, Maikunkele in Bosso local council of the state.

Police spokesperson Wasiu Abiodun in a statement advised members of the public, and sister security agencies not to panic at the sound of sporadic gunshots during the exercise.

Abiodun added that the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, appreciates the usual cooperation and understanding of the people with the Police and other security agencies.

The commissioner said the Command will always strive to be proactive and responsive in serving the public better.
