
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Olanrewaju Ishola, yesterday commended officers of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit (Task Force) for their role in stabilising public order.
During a working visit to the task force headquarters in Bolade, Oshodi, CP Ishola addressed Chairman Adetayo Akerele, senior police officers, and management staff.
He highlighted the task force’s vital contribution to the command’s efforts in ensuring public safety and security throughout Lagos.Ishola praised the task force’s performance under Akerele’s leadership, encouraging the team to prioritise their physical and mental wellbeing to maintain optimal performance.
Akerele expressed his gratitude for the positive feedback, stating it would further motivate the task force to deliver quality service and uphold the enabling laws governing its operations .
In a gesture of camaraderie, Akerele presented Ishola with a commemorative plaque, symbolising the inter-agency cooperation fostered under his leadership.
