The Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai, has tasked troops, Operation Lafiya Dole to remain dogged and decisive in fight against Boko Haram.

Buratai gave the task last Friday, while addressing troops of 118 and 119 Task Force Battalion fighting insurgents on shores of Lake Chad, at Mallam Fatori, Borno State.

In a statement, yesterday in Maiduguri, Spokesman of Operation Lafiya Dole, Col. Ado Isa, disclosed that Buratai, who was represented by Theatre Commander, Maj-Gen. Benson Akinroluyo, would continue to provide troops with logistics and technical supplies to defeat and end insurgency.

He charged them to increase momentum of fighting insurgents, through sustained proactive and offensive clearance operations on shores of lake.
