Rite Foods MD, Adegunwa, hands over as Ogun State MAN chair

Managing Director (MD) of Rite Foods and outgoing Chairman of Ogun State Chapter of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Seleem Adegunwa, has handed over to Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Coleman Wires and Cables, George Onafowokan.

Adegunwa, who spoke during the hand-over ceremony, said that having completed his four-year tenure, he was handing over to Onafowokan for continuity of his legacy, thus imbibing the cutting-edge approach to the fundamentals of the Ogun State chapter of the association, which according to him, has created enabling business environment for the growth trajectory experienced by organisations in various industries that make up the association.

He charged the incoming state chairman to continue the legacy of visionary leadership and creation of enabling business environment for businesses in the state.

Adegunwa, who has successfully piloted the affairs of Rite Foods, a market leader in Nigeria’s food and beverage sector, from a humble beginning to a world-class company with unrivalled and award-winning brands that have dictated the pace for its competitors, boosted the association’s activities with futuristic and ground-breaking policies that have been well applauded by members of the association.

His administrative prowess, which has made a remarkable impact in the state, with the evolution of large and small medium enterprises, wealth and job creation, as well as improved infrastructural development, has helped to place it on the world map as an attractive business destination, with enough economic potential.

Adegunwa said that the efforts of Ogun State Governor would not go unrecognised, having paved the way for MAN’s initiatives to thrive, thereby enhancing businesses, professionalism and advanced economy.
