Two students of Rivers State University (RSU) and another from Afe Babalola University, Ekiti State (ABUAD) have emerged winners of the Vision and Success Opportunity challenge organised by the Princewills Trust.

The challenge is a forum where ambitious young leaders pitch ideas and strategies for furthering their vision and success in life. It is designed to help current Nigerian university undergraduates and postgraduates imagine realistic career models and investigate how to shift from concept to reality while still pursuing their studies.

The trio will visit Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a weeklong trip where they will learn and explore multiple business and career opportunities.

They are: Loveth Chikanka Ichemati, a first-year student of English and Literature (RSU); Alex Tamuno Miegbam, a PhD student of History and International Diplomacy (RSU) and Idoniboyeobu Omiete Opubo, a fourth-year student (ABUAD).

Founder of the Trust, Prince Tonye Princewill, noted: “I always get excited when a new set of students embark on these boot camps. The post-trip reviews we have had from previous trips were so encouraging that we are considering expanding the scope of the challenge to include students from other states in Nigeria.

The exposure is great for the kids, opening their minds to endless possibilities.” He added: “Experiencing Dubai was a life changer for me. I hope it will be for them. I’d like to thank the whole team at Dubai Tourism and particularly the Africa Desk, led by Stella Fubara and Christian Romer and the ever-reliable CLR Education Consulting, led by Nneka Oduah. It’s your passion for our tomorrow that has made this possible.”

Princewills Trust, in conjunction with Dubai Department for Economy and Tourism (DET) and CLR Education Consulting partnered to organise the opportunity, so the winners could get a first-hand experience of the popular business and tourism destination.
