Traditional rulers and residents in Ekpeye Land, in Ahoada Local Government Area of Rivers State, have praised the General Overseer of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi over medical outreach and other impactful programmes in the land.

The Ministry organised a six-day Global Crusade and free medical outreach in the area which excited the people.

The medical care included free medical checkups and treatment, administration of drugs, and treatment of cases like hernia, fibroid, eye problems, malaria, and typhoid among others.

The programme themed, ‘The Wonders of God’s Grace’,a Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK, started on September 26 at the Western Ahoada County High School and lasted for six days.

The Eze Ekpeye of Ekpeye Logbo, the third, His Imperial Majesty, Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo, commended Kumuyi for considering Ekpeye land as the choice location for the crusade.

The royal father assured Kumuyi that the people would support and partake in the programme.

He said, “We know that you are an ordained man of God, the same God that used you when you came to Ekpeye Land in the year 2016 when we witnessed the transformation, turned things around, and have again brought you into our land in my time.”

Speaking, one of the beneficiaries of the free medical outreach, Mrs Fortune Festus, thanked God for Kumuyi’s visit, saying the gesture would transform her life.

Pastor Kumuyi assured the residents that the crusade would bring transformation in Ekpeye and Rivers State.

He stressed the need for good governance and encouraged the people to always look up to God.

The Clergy thanked the Eze, traditional rulers, chiefs, and people of Ekpeye for the warm reception and urged them to attend the crusade and prepare for Christ’s coming.
