Sani accuses El-Rufai of masterminding his planned expulsion from APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial zone, Senator Shehu Sani has accused Governor Ahmed El-Rufai of allegedly masterminding plans to expel him from the Party, while accusing the Governor of using his vocal opposition against President Muhammadu Buhariís recent increase in the pump price of petrol to execute the plot.

Sani, also a human rights activist, in a statement issued yesterday by his Special Adviser on Politics and Ideology, Comrade Suleiman Ahmed, accused El-Rufai of using the name of President Buhari to fight his political adversaries, while pointing out that he (Sani) was ever ready to expose Governor El-Rufaiís can of warms in the State. According to the statement, The press conference and threat of expulsion made by one Tanko Wusono of Kaduna APC against Senator Shehu Sani for objecting to the increase in pump price of petroleum products stands unambiguously condemned. Kaduna APC as it exists today is simply an extension of El-Rufai’s government.

It read further, The press conference is the hand of Jacob and the voice of Esau. Tanko Wusono is the special assistant to El-Rufai’s Commissioner for local government, Bashir Saidu; at the same time also a member of Kaduna internal revenue board. El-Rufai is afraid of directly confronting Senator Sani and resorted to using Buhari’s name to fight his domestic battlesî. ìSenator Shehu Sani reserves the right to freely express his opinion and nobody can stop him from doing that.

El-Rufai was never and is still not a Buhari man but a pretender who can kneel down to anyone as long as that person can propel him to power. He continued: ìThe use of APC Kaduna to fight Shehu Sani by El-Rufai is a testimony to how timid and mischievous the governor is. El-Rufai is a Man who had abused PMB and only aligned himself with him when Yar’adua and Jonathan denied him juicy ministerial positions and recognitionî.
