Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, have urged Nigerians to support the developmental agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and state governments.

Speaking at the second Christmas Carol and End of the Year Thanksgiving Service held at the ACME road Lagos APC Secretariat, Sanwo-Olu, represented by the state Commissioner for Home Affairs, Ibrahim Layode, stressed the importance of perseverance and collective effort in making life better for Nigerians.

“Let us continue to support President Bola Tinubu-led Administration with the renewed hope developmental agenda. We should continue to persevere with various transformation efforts ongoing in the country, both at the federal and state levels, in the quest to make life better for our people.”

Sanwo-Olu pledged to continue working tirelessly to fulfill his promises, ensuring that every Lagosian feels the impact of good governance.

“Let us also remember those who need our support, most especially families who may not have much to celebrate this season,” he added.

Ojelabi echoed this sentiment, calling on Nigerians to love one another and live in peace, regardless of religious beliefs, region, sex, or class.

He urged political office holders to show love and mercy to their fellow citizens, as God has shown mercy to them, and to support government programs at all levels.

“Christ enjoins us to love honestly and unconditionally so that we can live in peace and harmony,” he said.

The event featured prominent personalities reading lessons from the Holy Bible, including Mrs. Salamotu Gbajabiamila, Mrs. Oluremi Hamzat, and Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire.

Other dignitaries in attendance included state commissioners, lawmakers, and APC executives.
