Sanwo-Olu slashes LASUED, LASUSTECH tuition fees by 65%

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has slashed the tuition fees to be paid by pioneer students of the two newly-established Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) Ijanikin/Epe and Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu, by 65 per cent.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has slashed the tuition fees to be paid by pioneer students of the two newly-established Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) Ijanikin/Epe and Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu, by 65 per cent.

The governor was said to have considered the economy and its impact on parents before the decision.

The news of the reduction was contained in a statement, yesterday, by Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Tokunbo Wahab.

MEANWHILE, a group of Nollywood actors, including Taiwo Hassan (a.k.a. Ogogo), Tunde Usman-Okele and Adekunle Ayanfe (a.k.a. Monsuru, has released a mini-movie to drum support for Lagos State governor and APC governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

In the eight minutes movie, the actors highlighted some of the achievements of the current governor who is seeking second term in office.

Ogogo played the role of a father whose admiration for the governor is unmatched as a result of his works within his first two years in office.

The movie, while highlighting some of Sanwo-Olu’s achievements, focuses on blocks of classrooms, flats, prepaid meters, road construction, educational materials, security, women empowerment and transportation among others.

The mini movie was produced, courtesy of Greater Lagos Development Forum and the APC youth president, Dayo Israel, to enlighten the public on the achievements of Sanwo-Olu and why he should be voted for a second term in office.
