• Says profit hits N1.36tr, operating cash flow N2.15tr
• Declares 7.5 cents dividend amid strong balance sheet, others
Seplat Energy Plc has reported growth across key financial and operational indicators for the nine months ended September 30, 2025, with revenue rising sharply to N3.356 trillion, from N1.071 trillion recorded in the corresponding period of 2024.
The company’s gross profit surged to N1.356 trillion, up from N531.5 billion year-on-year, supported by higher production volumes and improved market performance. Operating profit also climbed to N1.096 trillion from N411.3 billion, while cash generated from operations grew to N2.152 trillion, up from N633.8 billion in the same period of 2024.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose to N1.715 trillion, representing a significant increase from N573.4 billion reported in the prior year, reflecting strong operational efficiency and higher output levels.
Seplat, therefore, declared a total dividend of 7.5 U.S. cents per share, comprising a 5.0 U.S. cents base dividend and a 2.5 U.S. cents special dividend, representing a 63 per cent quarter-on-quarter and 108 per cent year-on-year increase.
The company said its idle well restoration programme added approximately 33,400 barrels per day of gross production capacity from 33 restored wells, adding that its first Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cargo was sold to the domestic market, supporting clean cooking and improving domestic energy access, while the ANOH gas plant remains on track to deliver first gas in Q4 2025.
Chief Executive Officer, Seplat Energy Plc., Roger Brown, said that at the firm’s Capital Market Day (CMD) in September, the medium-term vision for the company was set, targeting 200 kboepd working interest production and $1 billion in cumulative dividends in our roadmap to 2030.
