An accident has been reported at Panti along the Bida-Mokwa road in the Lavun Local Government Area of Niger State, in which seven people died.

It was gathered that a Toyota Corolla and an articulated truck coming in from Lagos were involved in the crash.

There were nine occupants in the Toyota Corolla when the accident happened as the car collided with the trailer.
Seven out of the nine passengers, including five females and two male occupants, died.

The Niger State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kumar Tsukwam, confirmed the accident and stated that the bodies of the dead victims have been deposited at the Kutigi General Hospital.

When contacted, Tsukwam reiterated that the bodies of the victims had been deposited at the Kutigi General Hospital.
