Shehu Sani hails Ribadu’s commitment to tackle terrorism
Former National Assembly lawmaker and Civil rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani, has applauded the efforts of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, to rid the country of insecurity.
According to the ex- senator who represented the Kaduna Central Zone in the defunct 8th National Assembly, Ribadu has surpassed his predecessors in avowed mission of fighting insurgency in Nigeria with minimum cost.
“Nuhu Ribadu has achieved what many of his predecessors have failed to accomplish despite the hundreds of billions spent in the name of defence and security in the past,” Sani said in a statement.
He explained that the NSA has been able to conduct the successful “neutralisation of top bandit leaders, put an end to mass abductions of students in northern schools, securing rail lines and major northern highways hitherto seen as notorious for kidnappings.”
Sani stated that “the prompt response to terrorist attacks on power lines is worth mentioning.
