The family of Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has announced arrangements for the burial ceremony of their patriarch, Late Pa Simeon Soludo (Akukananwa), beginning from December 23, 2023.

The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Christian Aburime, said, in a statement signed by Emma Soludo for the family, that their late father passed on at the age of 92.

According to the statement, the Soludo family noted that in honouring the life and celebrating the immeasurable impact of the Late Nze Soludo, the funeral events will go as follows:
“December 23, 2023, will be lying-in-state from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. in the deceased’s compound.

“Funeral mass follows by 9:00 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Parish, Isuofia, while internment follows by 11:00 a.m. in Pa Soludo’s compound.

“This will be followed by condolence/ reception from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. at the Community Secondary School field, Isuofia.

“On December 24, 2023, the family will conclude the funeral ceremonies with an outing/thanksgiving service by 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Parish, Isuofia.”

“The Soludo family deeply appreciates the immense outpouring of love and support by everyone during this period, as they bid farewell to their beloved patriarch.”
