Mr. Danladi Jatau, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly has warned staff of the assembly against lateness to duties and acts of indiscipline.

Jatau gave the warning, while addressing newsmen on staff attendance and punctuality on Wednesday in Lafia.

He said that punctuality and discipline would ensure optimal productivity and overall development of the state.

The speaker decried the poor attendance of the Assembly staff members to work, saying that his administration would not condone indiscipline.

According to him, the 7th assembly under his watch will not allow any staff member to sabotage the working of the legislature.

“Any organization that is not disciplined will not move forward, so staff members must discipline themselves or we discipline them.

“Gov. Abdullahi Sule is doing well and doing his best to improve on the welfare of workers, and the assembly under my watch will continue to prioritize the welfare of staff of the House, but I will not condone indiscipline.

“I have instructed the Staff Officer to discipline any staff member that is not punctual and is not doing his duties as expected,” he said.
