St. John’s alumni illuminate host community

The old students of St. John’s Grammar School have restored electricity to seven settlements at Oke-Atan community in Ile-Ife, Osun State, as part of activities to mark the 60th anniversary of the school.

Chairman of the electricity committee of the community, Dr. Sharafadeen Akinyoye, who lamented how the community suffered to fix the three old transformers without success, said they were happy when the president of the alumni, Dr. Festus Oshoba, told them about the project.
