Advertising guru and Group MD/CEO, Explicit Communications, Tunde Thani, who recently turned 60, has urged privileged Nigerians to render a helping hand to indigent citizens around them.

According to him, bringing joy and happiness to the faces of many under-privileged citizens is far rewarding than satisfying the human urge for more acquisition.

He said: “During and after the period of the lockdown, supporting the relief efforts has been one of the significant experiences of my life. Having to touch and impact on lives is a thrilling satisfaction which many Nigerians should be encouraged to practice.

“One of our interventions was when I led members of Ivory League of Progress, a socio-philanthropic club, to the Old People’s Care Home, Yaba; Modupe Cole Memorial Child Care and Treatment Home School, Akoka and Women and Children with Disabilities Initiative Home, all in Lagos State, to donate food items and other relief materials to cushion the hardship experienced during the pandemic lockdown.”

He is an exemplary leader whose good deed offered him a chieftaincy title of “Arobarayo” of Ogidi land in Kogi State.
