The Guardian Group, Dangote, Transcorp Hilton to share CSR award tomorrow

The Guardian Group (TGG) has been selected as one of the winners of the pan-African multimedia and public relations company- PR Times.

The Guardian Group was selected because of the group’s distinctive corporate social responsibility to the Nigerian society.

In a letter nominating The Guardian Group for the Awards signed by the PR Times Head of Corporate Affairs, Ms. Lami Jonathan, said the Company gave reasons for nominating TGG as follows

“The Guardian Group having been diligently observed and assessed in terms of the great work you are doing using multimedia to tell the good stories of Nigeria and Africa at large has been nominated to receive PR Times Africa Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) 2019 Award in the Category of ‘Best use of CSR in Community Development”.

Also selected for the awards, which on Saturday at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, are the Dangote Group and the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, among other companies and individuals that have distinguished themselves in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility.

It further explained that the Award is its platform for recognizing corporate and individuals that look beyond the bottom line to promote the communal values Nigerians and Africa are renowned for by contributing to build more sustainable societies.
