The world converges on Lagos for one-woman launch
Women from all walks of life in Nigeria will converge in Lagos today to witness the launch of one of the most prestigious propositions for women in the country, ‘One Woman’, courtesy of Sterling Bank Plc.
The launch of the proposition, which is in commemoration of the International Women’s Day, was designed to empower women to achieve their God-given potential.
The event, holding at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, will celebrate the versatility, beauty, intelligence and strength of women.
Kelechi Amadi-Obi, an award-winning photographer and artist, is expected to capture the moments and thrill guests to the reinvention of photography.
Chief Marketing Officer of the bank, Mr. Henry Bassey, said in an interview with journalists that to add colour to the event, the first 100 guests would have their impressions painted by artists and would be given their portraits courtesy of the Bank.
A health check programme is ongoing for members of staff and female customers at some of the bank’s branches nationwide as part of activities to mark the International Women’s Day, he added.
