A similar case of violence had occurred on Wednesday when Some members of PDP were attacked by some suspected members of the All Progressives Congress at King Koko Square in Nembe, Bayelsa State.

The attack was said to be a retaliation of an alleged attack by PDP members on APC members on their way to their party rally at Igbogene town in Yenago LGA in the State.

Violent clashes among suspected political thugs have increased in the state.

Both PDP and APC are the frontrunners in the election holding in a state that is traditionally a PDP stronghold.
