President Bola Tinubu has departed Katsina after a two-day working visit to the state.
The presidential aeroplane took off from the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport, Katsina, at about 3 p.m. on Saturday, and he is expected to arrive at Aso Rock in preparation for next week’s activities.
While in Katsina, the President had inaugurated two significant projects, which include the Eastern Bypass, a crucial infrastructure development that spans from Dutsin-ma Road through Kano and Daura Roads, ending at Yandaki in Kaita Local Government Area.
President Tinubu also commissioned the State Agricultural Mechanisation Centre, a project aimed at boosting agricultural productivity in the state under Governor Dikko Radda’s administration.
He also addressed troops of the Nigerian Armed Forces on security matters, and attended the wedding fatiha of a daughter of Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, earlier today before departing Katsina.
