President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Ms Damilola Ogunbiyi, Chief Executive Officer of Sustainable Energy for All and Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, on her recognition at the prestigious TIME Earth Awards.

He noted that under her leadership, Sustainable Energy for All has supported more than 100 countries and helped mobilise over $1.6 trillion in energy financing commitments worldwide.

Tinubu described the award as a testament to Ogunbiyi’s professionalism, dedication and impact in advancing sustainable development.

“Ogunbiyi’s achievement reflects not only personal excellence but also Nigeria’s growing influence in shaping innovative solutions to global development challenges,” the President said.
