Hundeyin succeeds Adejobi as force spokesman
President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, on the occasion of his birthday today.
 
He joined officers, ranks and management of the Nigeria Police Force in celebrating Egbetokun, lauding his steadfast commitment to safeguarding the nation.
 
The President prayed for renewed strength, wisdom, and courage for the IGP as he continues to serve the nation.
 
BESIDES, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Benjamin Hundeyin has been announced as the 26th spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
 
IGP Egbetokun approved the appointment of the Lagos State-born police communication expert.
   
Hundeyin, the then Administrative Officer, Force Public Relations Department, took over from former spokesperson of the Lagos PPRO, Adekunle Ajisebutu, in March 2022.
 
Ajisebutu succeeded Olumuyiwa Adejobi after the latter was appointed as force spokesperson in April 2022.

Hundeyin became the second PPRO in the Lagos State Police Command to assume the position within four years.   
Known as a disruptive new generation spokesperson of the police, Hundeyin has been praised for his effort to engage Lagosians online, providing robust and quick updates, open to public criticism, and tactically engaging difficult persons online.
 
CSP Hundeyin boasts a robust communication and security background. 

He holds a BA (Hons) in English Language from Lagos State University and an MSc in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan. He also obtained a Certificate in Civil-Military Coordination from the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Training Centre, Jaji, Kaduna State.

He is an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), a Member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM).
