Tinubu, Olujimi mourn Ajoke Adegeye, Onijan of Ijan-Ekiti

Former Lagos Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commiserated with the Juju maestro, King Sunny Ade, and Lagos State Government over the passing of a former member of the House of Assembly, Risikat Ajoke Adegeye.

He also commiserated with the people of Amuwo-Odofin over the development.

Tinubu, in a statement signed by his media aide, Mr. Tunde Rahman, said: “I’m deeply saddened by the passing of your wife and former member of the Lagos House of Assembly, Risikat Ajoke Adegeye.”

ALSO, the senator, representing Ekiti South Senatorial District, Chief Biodun Olujimi has mourned a prominent traditional ruler and the Onijan of Ijan-Ekiti in Gbonyin Local Council of Ekiti State, Oba Samuel Oyewole Fadahunsi.

In a statement she personally signed and made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, Olujimi expressed shock and disbelief at the demise of the monarch.

She described the death of the Onijan as unfortunate and a great loss to the people of Ekiti State, considering his contributions to the development of Ijan-Ekiti and the state in general.

Olujimi noted that the late Onijan of Ijan-Ekiti was dedicated and pragmatic in discharging his duties to his community, adding that he would be missed by his people and the entire state.
