The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement, South-South Hon Gift Johnbull, has launched campaign to document and highlight impact of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda across the South-South region and Nigeria.

The campaign tagged “My Renewed Hope Story’unveiled in Abuja, was designed to document the experiences of Nigerians benefiting from various interventions of the Federal Government in infrastructure, power, agriculture, economic empowerment, education and healthcare.

Speaking at the launch, Johnbull said the Renewed Hope Agenda has produced measurable results for ordinary Nigerians.

“Renewed Hope is not just a slogan. It is real roads that are connecting farmers to markets. It is real light that is powering businesses. It is real money in the hands of nano business owners. It is real food on the table,” she said.

She said the campaign would travel across the South-South region and other parts of the country to document the stories of Nigerians benefiting from government programmes.

According to her, the campaign would showcase the impact of infrastructure projects such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and other federal road projects, which she said were improving transportation, trade and connectivity.

Johnbull said the campaign would also highlight government interventions in the power sector, including expanded access to electricity and solar projects aimed at powering micro, small and medium-sized businesses, particularly in rural communities.

On agriculture and food security, she said ‘My Renewed Hope Story’ would document the experiences of farmers benefiting from dry-season farming initiatives, fertiliser support and other government interventions aimed at increasing food production and improving food affordability.

She added that the campaign would feature beneficiaries of the administration’s economic empowerment initiatives, including Presidential Conditional Grants and loans provided to nano, micro and small businesses.

Johnbull further said the initiative would highlight interventions in education and healthcare, particularly the Nigerian Student Loan Scheme and the upgrading of Primary Healthcare Centres across the country.

She said the stories would include those of market women whose businesses had improved, farmers recording increased production, students able to remain in school through the student loan scheme and youths who had acquired skills and received starter kits.

Johnbull said the interventions were among the reasons Nigerians should support Tinubu for a second term in office.

“When you see a road completed, that is Renewed Hope. When you see a youth employed, that is Renewed Hope. When you see food becoming more affordable, that is Renewed Hope. These are the reasons we must continue with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” she said.

She called on media organisations, content creators, community leaders and citizens to join the campaign by sharing verified stories of the impact of government programmes in their communities using the hashtag #MyRenewedHopeStory.

“This campaign is about the people. It is about proving that government is working. And it is about ensuring that in 2027, Nigerians vote to continue the progress we have started,” Johnbull concluded.
