‘Training critical to developing strategies for technological revolution’
The Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) has said that training and retraining remain key to developing strategies to compete more effectively in the digital world, especially as technology is altering learning, relationships, and shaping the future workplace.
The Chairman, NITAD 2019 Annual Trainers’ Conference, Mr. F.O. Ajalogun, while speaking at a briefing on the 27th Annual Trainers’ Conference (ATC) slated for September 17 to 19, said technology–induced change would keep evolving in scale, scope and complexity.
Ajalogun said the summit themed: “Transforming Learning and Development in the Digital Era,” will serve as a forum for professionals and practitioners to get together and brainstorm on strategies to compete more effectively in the digital world, strengthening core competencies and fostering new capabilities.”
He said those charged with the responsibility of learning and development, are expected to be among participants at the event where the Emir of Wase, Jos, Plateau State, Dr. Muhammadu Sambo Haruna will deliver the keynote.
