Trinity House laments state of the nation, plans prayer walk
The Senior Pastor of Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo, has expressed concern over the state of affairs in the country even as he disclosed that the church is planning a prayer walk on June 4, 2022.
Ighodalo, who spoke with journalists in Lagos, said that the walk would be done in partnership with Nigerian Intercessory Group.
He said: “It is the family and the home that produce people that become presidents and governors. Family value breakdown and immorality have produced leaders that do not fear God and don’t have passion for the people.
“We want to pray for Nigeria to overcome her challenges. Nigeria is a beautiful country. Nigerians are doing well overseas. We have some of the best brains abroad. We want to pray against greed, wickedness, poverty and bitterness. People are being kidnapped and nothing happen.”
The prayer walk, which is billed to hold on June 4, will kick off from the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, where the Union Jack was lowered in 1960, and the green white green flag raised.
